Five Stars...I know first hand that they have very high standards on the appearance of their staff, especially the casino dealers.

But are tourists looking for 5 star accommodations, or 5 star escorts?

Hummm, hope they succeed.

They currently have a promo of about 50% off their rack rate. Rooms can be had from only P5,500 and up per night. That includes a free breakfast!

James is probably shaking in his boots.

P5500 per night.

Hmm, for that price I can slum at Ponderosa in AC for the night in a room that while maybe not even rating one star satisfy's me.

Have gone out on a 4/5 hour bar toot, have a LBFM for a bed companion.

Even in Subic, get a beach side room in what is for me a nice resort for P2200 a night.

The left over diff will purchase me a LBFM and at least half my barhop.

Think I shall leave this establishment for all you big spenders like Froodo and Barfiner and just continue to slum it.  :bum-2122:

I just tried to book a room for Monday week so I got somewhere on base that is quiet and peaceful; and safe, to sleep it off after the "League of Gentlemen Lunch" and barhop afterwards seeing as it will be election night and all the drunks with guns will be out after dark playing vigilantes but seems it is not open yet as cant find anywhere to book s room online.

You can book on-line at agoda, but only for after it opens in August or September.

"Big spenders" just sounds so crass.

We prefer "discerning gentlemen".

Pls my friend, my limited observations of yr habits include that for the most part by 1400 you are lucky to be able to discern much of anything.  :bum-2122:

Think he was refering to Midori, not Clarkton.

I was and it's apparently was badly executed sarcasm.

Not having a go Boss but the reason I want to stay on base on the night in concern is because it is election night and the last place I want to be is "in the heart of the action".

Im typing this from a wonderful as new short time hotel in Dau which is heaving with people even though it is far from "the action". Doesnt seem to concern anyone here right now though. ☺

The Midori Clark Hotel’s casino in the Philippines is now open to the public after its soft opening on April 27.

Dr Irineo Alvaro, president of BB International Leisure and Resort Development Corp, which operates Midori Clark Hotel and Casino, said the opening of the casino is “the first pillar that shall open wide investments, bigger and bolder.”

The registered name of the hotel is Central Summit International Leisure Hotel. Alvaro said that, by the end of the year or the first quarter of next year, the Aqua Planet, a water theme park, will also be opened.
